From there, Shockwave's chronal drive began to collapse in on itself and Bumblebee's body was pulled into the black hole it created. In the midst of dismantling Shockwave's plan, Bumblebee is killed when Shockwave shoots a hole through him. The second time that Bumblebee dies in the Transformers comics is in the 2014 series "Dark Cybertron." In the installments, Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Rodimus must fight against Shockwave, who sets into a motion a long-running plan to remake Cybertron by killing all the Autobots and Decepticons. ![]() A statue is erected in his honor in the final issue. Ultimately, Serpentor kills Bumblebee, and even his murderer admits that Bumblebee's death made him feel some emotions. Swindle gives two of Starscreams clones, Ramjet (white) and Sunstorm (yellow) unique helmets, so as to make them look more distinct from each other. In particular, during the third installment of the series, Bumblebee takes center stage in a battle against Serpentor, Piranacon, Predaking, and the Stunticons. Joes must team up to fight the evil terrorist organization, Cobra. The first time occurred during a 2006 Transformers and G.I. Transformer's Bumblebee died two separate times in the Transformers comic book series. ![]()
